Season Greetings from the Sunset Line
This month's shuttle line is spreading holiday cheer in the Sunset neighborhood. The fun starts at 6pm with Meet the Brewers night at Beach Chalet Brewery & Restaurant (1000 Great Hwy).
At 6:30pm, the #DrinkSFBeer shuttle kicks in, looping between Beach Chalet, Woods Outbound, Seven Stills Lawton, Sunser Reservoir Brewing Co. and Social Kitchen & Brewery.
Dark Strong Belgian Abbey Ale - 7.5% ABV, 29 IBUs
Featuring flavors of raisins, dates and pink bubblegum.
Brown Winter Warmer Ale - 7.1% ABV, 21 IBUs
Brewed with juniper berries, cinnamon, all-spice, cardamom coriander, molasses and brown sugar.
Sea Serpent IPA
Unfiltered, "Foggy" IPA - 5.8% ABV, 20 IBUs
Hopped exclusively in the whirlpool post boil then dry hopped, using Summit, Amarillo, Citra, Bru-1 and Azacca hops, resulting in essence of citrus, tropical fruit and pine.
GABF-Award Winner Mr. Kite's Pale Ale - CASK
Classic English Pale Ale
You can't get more "classic English" than enjoying this beauty on CASK. Check in at Social for a 2nd rare history lesson -- this time a beer style lesson harkening back to 18th and 19th century England.
Colliding Neutron Stars
Farmhouse Strong Ale - 11.7% ABV
Strong ale aged two years in red wine barrels with Brettanomyces yeast.
Extra Brut IPA - 6.7% ABV
Social's first exploration of a style they call 'Extra Brut IPA.' Super, super, super dry and hopped with Nelson and Hallertau Blanc hops expressing hints of white wine on the nose.
SEVEN STILLS LAWTON (note: can releases)
Spiced Milk Stout
Brewed with a combination of vanilla, lactose, cinnamon, molasses, brown sugar and fig concentrate. Sweet and supple with just enough heat to keep it balanced, Seven Stills calls this one a perfect Christmas Eve Stout.
Eight Pounds per Barrel
Single-Hop DIPA (Mosaic)
100% Mosaic cryo hops were used in the whirlpool and to dry hop. Brewed to push through those stone fruit, grapefruit peel, and just straight dank notes Mosaic is known for.
The #DrinkSFBeer shuttle is FREE. Shuttles loop continuously and stop every 10 min. at each venue. Just hop on, hop off at any stop.
NOTE: Woods Outbound closes at 10pm due to permit requirements, but shuttles should continue pick up people wanting to go to other venues for another 15-20 minutes.
